About Me

Hi! My name is Greg and I live in the county of Norfolk in Great Britain. I was born in 1966 so you work it out if you're interested!

 

I'm married with two daughters, the younger of whom is profoundly autistic. My wife is chronically ill so I gave up going out to work to become what I guess you'd call "a home carer". In this endeavour elder daughter is a complete Godsend and the greatest kid a man could wish for in my humble opinion! A Golden Retriever and a Cocker Spaniel are loyal and loving (if not terribly bright sometimes) companions!

What you're looking at here is a collection of my poems, verses and lyrics which I wanted to post somewhere where people could see them.

These poems are respectfully and fondly dedicated to five English teachers - Sarah Hussey, "Bernie" Philips, Mary Baird (now Mary Tebay), Martin Long and Janet Lewis, with thanks for all their patience!

The poems were originally hosted on a dedicated "free poetry site" which has now started limiting options for non-paying users so I decided to set up on my own here to display my work to the world! What you (should) see is a list of titles in the right sidebar of the page. Clicking on the title will hopefully take you to the page displaying that poem. Easy, eh?
